ClearScore's mortgage and protection platform announces new brand identity.
Acre, the fast-growing intermediary platform acquired by ClearScore in January 2026, has today announced a new name and brand identity. Now known as Score, the mortgage CRM’s rebrand marks the next step in Acre's evolution, accelerating ClearScore’s expansion into mortgages.
Acre’s rich, customer-centric data model and user-centric platform is driving a fundamental change to the mortgage journey - making it easier for brokers and networks to grow their businesses, enabling people to buy homes efficiently and driving impact across the entire lending ecosystem.
Under the new Score brand, the business will accelerate its technology roadmap, including new AI-powered features, integrating with ClearScore Home Lending. This will allow Score to bring cutting-edge technology enriched with ClearScore’s proprietary data and insights to mortgage and protection businesses faster, drive more leads into the ecosystem, and, together with ClearScore, deliver a smooth borrowing experience for the Group's 16 million UK users.
Justus Brown, Acre founder and Managing Director, said: “This is an exciting time for our business and for our users as well. The backing of the ClearScore Group means we can draw on financial firepower, AI expertise and a huge UK consumer base to accelerate our roadmap. While our users will see no change to the day-to-day in the service they receive, by bringing our brand in line with the wider ClearScore Group reflects our shared mission to simplify the mortgage journey for everyone and power change in consumers’ financial lives."
Brian Cole, Chief Financial Officer at The ClearScore Group, said: “Score is an exceptional business that brokers across the country use to service hundreds of thousands of people in preparing and selecting their mortgage. It now integrates with ClearScore Home Lending and sits alongside our other B2B platform, D•One, in powering borrowing and home lending for millions of people. As the Group accelerates its expansion into mortgages, we are building a suite of technology platforms powered by user-permissioned data that offer best-in-class service to borrowers, lenders and brokers.”
Score will remain a separate business unit within the ClearScore Group, focused entirely on the intermediary mortgage and protection space. This mirrors the approach taken when Aro became ClearScore Home Lending.
