About this guide

This guide provides you with important information about our services and our obligations under the National Credit Act. Where we are likely to provide credit assistance, we are required to provide this guide to you.

Products & Services

ClearScore is a credit intermediary that allows users to understand their eligibility for products and apply for them through our platform. These products include home loans, credit cards and personal loans.

While we provide general information on these products, we do not recommend particular products and do not provide financial product advice. You should seek independent advice if this is required. We do not conduct an assessment of suitability regarding the products you see.

Our marketplace covers a wide range of providers, however we don’t cover every product available and you should consider whether the products you see are appropriate for your needs.

To help you apply for credit products you have identified, we may occasionally pre-populate lender applications with information that we hold about you. We do this by sharing information that you have previously given us.

Remuneration

You will not be charged a fee for any of our credit intermediary services.

When you take our credit products through our platform, we receive a commission from the lender. We might be paid:

• A fixed amount when you choose to take out a product;

• An amount based on the number of people that decide to take out credit with a particular lender;

• An amount based on the total amount you choose to borrow or pay the provider for their service; or

• A fee when you click to one of our partner’s websites, even if you choose not to take out credit or use their services.

You can contact us to receive a reasonable estimate of the amount of indirect remuneration payable and how it is calculated.

While we receive commission from lenders, we never rank your search results based on how much commission we earn.

Our panel of lenders

Our panel includes credit products from a range of providers. At the time of publishing, the six providers that we do the most business with are:

• Driva

• Harmoney

• Latitude

• Now Finance

• Our Money Market

• Plenti
